The Sourceful Energy Zap is designed specifically for P1 ports with RJ12 connectors. Before purchasing or connecting your Zap, verify you have the correct port type. We are actively working to support more ports.
IMPORTANT
Only connect Zap to P1 ports (RJ12). Connecting to HAN ports (RJ45) can damage your device.

If you live in a country (not listed above) and can verify that your utility meter has an RJ12 or RJ45 port, please contact us at support@sourceful.energy. We would greatly appreciate your input in expanding our compatibility to new countries.
The data port on smart meters may need to be enabled by your grid operator (such as Svenska kraftnรคt, Ellevio, Vattenfall or E.ON). This can usually be done via their website, or you may need to contact them and request that they activate the data port on your meter.

Important Notes
The Zap does not require external USB-C power under normal circumstances. If you have connectivity problems to your wifi external power may help.
