1. Short Project Description
This document is a simplified installer guide and describes how a Zap device is connected and onboarded to an already installed and operational Ambibox system.
The guide is intended as a step-by-step starting point for certified installers and focuses on:
Physical configuration of the Zap device
Onboarding via the Sourceful app
Connecting the Zap and Ambibox chargre
2. Prerequisites (Before You Start)
Ambibox is installed, powered, and operational
Electrical installation complies with applicable Swedish regulations (ELSÄK, SS 436 40 00)
Internet connectivity is available on site
You are logged in to the Sourceful App
3. Step-by-Step: Connecting the Zap Device
Step 1: Follow the Onboarding guide
First make sure you onboard your energy meter using our Meter configuration guide.
Step 2: Connect and configure the Ambibox
Step 3: Onboard the Charge Box
Step 4: Link Zap to Ambibox
Zap is now used as the metering source for the Ambibox and Sourceful EMS.
4. Basic Validation
Verify that:
Ambibox appears as a connected device
No error messages are present
5. Ready for Next Steps
Once Zap is correctly connected and visible in the system, the installer can proceed with:
Functional testing
Customer handover
