Standard P1 Connection (RJ12)
Most Common Configuration
- Standard port interface (RJ12-port with 6-pin) on most modern smart meters.
- Works immediately out of the box. No extra adapter needed.
- The Zap draws all needed power directly from your smart meter - no external power supply needed.
Example of meters with Standard P1 port (RJ12):
Meters Requiring Adapters
Kamstrup Omnipower Connection
- Specific to Kamstrup Omnipower meters
- Requires Sourceful Kamstrup Adapter - no external power supply needed.
- Simple installation process
RJ45 Connection (8-pin)
- Found on some smart meters. Common in Norway.
- Requires Sourceful RJ45-toRJ12 Adapter
- Standard network cables will not work
- Check your specific meter model for compatibility

- May be labeled as "HAN" or "H1"
- Check with your utility provider for compatibility

- Check with your utility provider for compatibility
Important Notes
