Setup Guide: Dual Mining Beta Program

If you are flashing a RAK V2 originally purchased as a Helium Hotspot, you must provide us with the Serial and Public Key of your Energy Gateway once you have flashed the Dual Mining image. You can find both of these in the Configurator (step 3, Device Information) once you have flashed the image as per the instructions in this guide.

Please contact us and submit both Serial and Public key and we'll add it to our system as soon as possible.

NOTE:

This does not apply to those who have purchased a Sourceful Dual Miner from RAK.
It is not possible to go past Step 5, Wallet Registration, in the Configurator if the Serial and Public key are not added to our system.

Flash the Sourceful firmware

Start by flashing a new firmware image to the SD-card. To do so, follow this guide.

Onboard your Energy Gateway using our Configurator.

Helium Network Onboarding (optional)

If your Dual Mining Energy Gateway has not yet been onboarded to the Helium Network, download the Helium Wallet app and follow the steps to onboard your Energy Gateway.
